Last  time we came to this town the show was cancelled due to bad weather. This time it all went smooth.

HELLFEST CONQUEST!

Our first major festival in France and it turned out to be one of our best gigs of the year so far. 

A sea of people. Some that already know we're back and mean business, and some that were just curious to see what the hell we were doing there.......It all turned into mayhem towards the end. The French can really go mad.....Fantastic!

Storm in Zaragoza

The gig in Zaragoza almost got cancelled due to high winds.  

As mentioned on Twitter. Ian's hairdo proved the most practical for this show.....

We did a press conference and a signing session before the show. Quite a busy afternoon. then Joey walked on stage filming the crowd with his mobile....

..

We used to listen to Neil Shoon and Steve Perry quite a lot when we were teenagers. Although we've met Neil before it was a pleasure to have this pic taken......Journey played earlier in the day.

On top of that we were handed an award for being voted the best swedish hard rock band "ever"  by the people through swedish radio P4....thank you so much for voting for us.

NO SLEEP 'TILL SWEDEN ROCK

We had a great time last night in Trondheim, hooking up with the boys in Whitesnake again. Watching them play is always a treat. We used to blast "Slide it in" in the tour bus all the time. David and Co has been great inspiration over the years......

Just a couple of weeks left to Sweden Rock Festival........We've tried out a couple of new songs here in Norway. "Last look at eden" and "Gonna get ready".  It feels great to add some new stuff to the set list. We've also played Seventh sign from PIP and it seems like it's working. There may be some further changes before next weekend......

Playing Sweden Rock.....feels like coming home....and we're sure gonna make the most of it.....a new "majestic" single coming out as well........exiting times indeed!

Europe with Patric Ullaeus

Yes,   a couple of weeks ago we shot a video for our first single from Last look at eden. The director is Patric Ullaeus. The work on this video is in full swing since we plan release the song at the end of May / beginning of June both in Scandinavia and Europe. We chose to work with Patric after seeing his work with In Flames amongst others.

Thank you Antofagasta!

The first show day turned out to be a very long one.......

Even though our plane was delayed 5 hours, some luggage went missing, no electricity in the dressing room. etc. it was all worth it when we met our fans in Anto fagasta.  We had  a warm welcome indeed. They had even rented a huge bus filled it with fan club members following us to the hotel.....

Like always on the first show there were some other problems but the audience was great, they sang beautiful and it turned out to be a really cool show.

We've spent some time in Stockholm rehersing for our shows in South America. Been locked up in a studio for too long. Felt really good to jam again. Can't wait to get out there.

FINAL DAYS OF RECORDING

Hello again

We have arrived at the end of this recording........Mr Lindell will now start mixing this fine collection of songs. It's a strange feeling not going back to the studio in Gothenburg more on this record. 

We are extremely proud of this cd. It's got emotion....it kicks ass......it's thought provoking.....it's sexy........it might just turn your world upside down. 

We're aiming for a May release. There will be touring this summer and autumn. But we wont be surprised if there will be major touring in 2010. 

Cause this might just be one of those albums that's got wings............ to travel to infinity and beyond.

Thanks again for showing interest in this blog and our new Cd.

The other day we had some friends come and visit us in the studio. They ended up putting down some background vocals on some of the tracks. We all had a blast!

Hello friends!

It's been crazy... We've been working non stop in the studio so we have been a bit lazy with updating the blog.

This week we've been recording vocals (Joey's got one more to go), acoustic guitars, Hammond organ and editng strings.

Norum is currently sitting in Stockholm in another studio recording his final solos.

Earlier in the week we had some friends from the Swedish music scene visiting and singing backup vocals on a couple of tracks. We had a blast and hopefully we can show you some clips later.

A few more weeks and the basic recordings should be done.

Just finished the session in Prague with the Czech national symphony orchestra (45 persons). We worked on four of our tracks. It's sounding very majestic. We'll post some clips at a later date. Back in the studio in Gothenburg soon to finish the songs.

This week we've consentrated on lead vocals, background vocals and Hammond organ. An Oberheim synth has also found its way into the mix on a few tracks.

Norum has arrived to do some more solos over the weekend. He's brought 2 more guitars with him (see pics).
