FINAL FESTIVAL SHOW OF THE SUMMER 2010
FABULOUS CLOSING GIG IN STOCKHOLM (gröna lund).
WE'VE HAD THE BEST YEAR IN A LONG LONG TIME.

// UMEÅ - SUMMER 2010 //
BACK IN THE SADDLE!
After a short break, The summer festival tour has finally started. Umeå crowd was great! We hadn't been there in many many years. It was cold and late but it turned out a killer gig in the end.
Skidrow was on just before us and we had a chance to see a few songs and meet with 'snake' Sabo briefly. Last time we hooked up was at Milton Keynes in '89.
Ian is now playing on a brand new Ludwig see-through drum kit. It looked and sounded great, Leven has a silver Sanberg bass specially made for him. He was very proud. In a few weeks time we also have new stage screens coming. It's gonna look cool as.....hopefully they'll be ready for the the Stockholm gig with Kiss.
Were still working on the set-list for the summer and hope we can provide a few changes over the next coming months.
Anyway.....We are very exited to be doing our job again. A job you guys so kindly keep us in.

We have a true legend in our midst. Norum's got a natural ability to sing and play the blues. This song was improvised at one of our sound checks in Taipei, Taiwan.

We've been welcomed back with open arms!.....pretty amazing since we haven't been here in 20 years......
It all got a bit out of hand at the second show in Taipei when all of a sudden Joey decided to run out in the crowd. At one stage it looked like he would not make it back to the stage. With the help of Europe's and the promotors security staff the show could continue.....

// BACK IN JAPAN //
We've arrived in Tokyo. Must have been 3 years ago now. Swiss air took us here around 15 hours all in all....The jetlag is setting in. Going out on a sushi-boat tonight just to keep us awake long enough to try and get us into this time-zone. Touring Japan is feels a bit like living in thick liquid! The lack of sleep, the different culture and the time difference really gets you. We must have been here around 10 times by now but it's always a great experience. We've already met some fans in the hotel. First gig in Tokyo tomorrow night. 19:00 local time. Sayonara

Just before show time Joey's monitor system mysteriously breaks down. A few songs later Ian's personal computer stops in the middle of a song. All of a sudden Leven's base goes completely quiet. Mysteriously the very experienced crew can not locate the problem. It leads the band into a surreal jam on a song they name "Oxford town".....After the high impact LONDON show a couple of nights ago this show was a completely different animal.
Great crowd though!
A very interesting night!
